Dr. Bando had graduated from Tokushima University, School of Medicine in 1981. After obtaining the ECFMG certificate, he participated in the family practice residency training in the United States. He got the degree of Doctors of Medicine in 1989 and engaged in the research of endocrine and metabolic medicine at Tokushima University. He has been a board member and specialist in several medical societies, such as diabetes, primary care, anti-aging medicine, integrative medicine (IM), music therapy and sports medicine. He was the chairperson of the 8th annual conference of Japanese Primary Care Association (JPCA) in 2017 with 4,500 attendees.

Dr. Lawrence Lavery is a Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery, as well as Director of Clinical Research in the Department of Plastic Surgery, at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX. His research group has published 210 peer reviewed papers and has received extramural funding from the Veterans Administration, the National Institute of Health, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the American Diabetes Association, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Ahed Alkhatib has finished his PhD from Cambell State University in 2011. I am currently working as a clinical researcher at faculty of medicine, Jordan University of Science and technology. Over the time, I have published more than 200 articles in various medical fields including neurosciences, pharmacology, and diabetes. My approaches in research include the involvement of philosophy of science in research which gives looking, and thinking in depth. I have developed several hypotheses in medicine such as the role of white matter in initiating diseases such as diabetes. In microbiology, I have demonstrated that prokaryotic cells and eukaryotic cells are similar in producing cell cycle proteins which can participate in autoimmunity diseases.

Dr. Şerife Mehlika Kuşkonmaz was born in 1975 in Ankara. She was graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine at 1999. She trained in Internal Medicine and in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Hacettepe University Hospital between 2000-2008. She worked in different medical centers as a specialist in the field of endocrinology, including Başkent University Hospital and Güven Hospital. Dr. Kuşkonmaz is now working as an associate professor in Ankara Research and Training Hospital Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism.

Dr. Clayton Dehn, MS is a clinical research physiologist with domestic and international experience in the pharmaceutical and device development industry. He has particular expertise in endocrine disorders, especially those related to fertility and metabolic disturbances. He is a co-inventor of a process and substance for disturbing the inheritance pattern of ion-channelopathic disorders by selectively disabling genetically undesirable sperm cells. He is also the sole author of the first publication cautioning against the risk of SGLT-inhibition inducing ketoacidosis in insulinopenic populations.
Clay is an invited member of the Foundation for the National Institute of Health (FNIH) Non-Invasive Biomarkers of Metabolic Liver Disease (NIMBLE) consortium working toward the goal of identifying and validating non-invasive biomarker(s) that can eventually replace biopsy in the management of Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) and Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH). In that appointment, he serves as co-chair of both the Circulating Biomarkers Workstream and the Operational Sub-Team.

The author and co-author of 167 scientific publications, including eight monographs, a textbook and a manual “Endocrinology”, manuals “Urgent conditions in endocrinology” and “Endocrinology”.
