Dr. Clayton Dehn, MS is a clinical research physiologist with domestic and international experience in the pharmaceutical and device development industry. He has particular expertise in endocrine disorders, especially those related to fertility and metabolic disturbances. He is a co-inventor of a process and substance for disturbing the inheritance pattern of ion-channelopathic disorders by selectively disabling genetically undesirable sperm cells. He is also the sole author of the first publication cautioning against the risk of SGLT-inhibition inducing ketoacidosis in insulinopenic populations. Clay is an invited member of the Foundation for the National Institute of Health (FNIH) Non-Invasive Biomarkers of Metabolic Liver Disease (NIMBLE) consortium working toward the goal of identifying and validating non-invasive biomarker(s) that can eventually replace biopsy in the management of Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) and Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH). In that appointment, he serves as co-chair of both the Circulating Biomarkers Workstream and the Operational Sub-Team.

Professor Chen won numerous awards at home and abroad, from 2015, was awarded the lifetime achievement award; from 2016 was awarded the health care & biotechnology merit award.

Dr. Somchai Amornyotin graduated at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University in 1989. He became the staff of the Department of Anesthesiology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand in 1996. Until 2004 he became the associate professor of the Department of Anesthesiology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. From 2005 until 2009 he was the chief of Anesthesiology Division of Siriraj GI Endoscopy Center, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. His first scientific paper was published in Thailand in 1999.

He has practiced anesthesia for gastrointestinal endoscopy since 2002. He was the committee of Siriraj Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Center, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital in 2005. More than 50 of his articles have been published in Thai and international medical journals. Dr. Amornyotin is a member and committee of the Royal College of Anesthesiologists of Thailand, the Gastroenterological Association of Thailand and many scientific societies. Dr. Satoru Okamoto is currently a Professor in the Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Science and Engineering at Shimane University, Japan since 1995. He pursued his degree in M.Sc. in 1977 and Ph. D in mechanical engineering in 1980 from Osaka University. Then, he worked as a researcher in the Research & Development Department at Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries Co., Ltd (IHI). At IHI, he worked as a researcher of aircraft engines and gas turbines, and had also designed compressors and fans of jet engines. Dr. Mirela Olympia Fagarasan Palmer works in academia as an internationally recognized neuropharmacology and neuroimmunology researcher. She published more than 500 scientific reports in the field of neuropsychopharmacology and signal transduction.

She is leading a laboratory interested in understanding the fundamental neurobiological mechanisms of neuropsychiatric disorders to contribute at development of new pharmacological treatments. Uses genetic, neuroendocrine and neurochemical methods. She recognized the role of the immune system in modulating neuropsychiatric diseases and we are developing in vitro cellular models and in vivo animal models to study the neuro-immune interactions under normal and disease states.

She has successfully combined research, teaching, administration and clinical care and continue to work on advancing and understanding the cause of serious mental illness.

Dr. Ahed Alkhatib has finished his PhD from Cambell State University in 2011. I am currently working as a clinical researcher at faculty of medicine, Jordan University of Science and technology. Over the time, I have published more than 200 articles in various medical fields including neurosciences, pharmacology, and diabetes. My approaches in research include the involvement of philosophy of science in research which gives looking, and thinking in depth. I have developed several hypotheses in medicine such as the role of white matter in initiating diseases such as diabetes. In microbiology, I have demonstrated that prokaryotic cells and eukaryotic cells are similar in producing cell cycle proteins which can participate in autoimmunity diseases.

Dr. Vincent Icheku has developed SIAC model for ethically analysis that was hailed as Innovative Teaching and Learning Tool by UK Higher Education Academy. Evidence abounds in literature, which shows that the model enjoys worldwide acceptance. His academic awards include: *Co-authored a research article that won the 2017 World Academic Championship in Health and Social Care. *Awarded the “Senior Fellow by the Higher Education Academy in honour of his contribution to the UK Higher Education and reaching worldwide audience with his work in 2014. *Award for Academic Excellence in 2008 by the Ibusa Community Development Union (ICDU) UK and Ireland. *Nominee for the best teacher’s award, London South Bank University in 2015 and 2016 respectively.

Siniša Franjić live in Osijek, Croatia. Primary and two secondary schools ended in Osijek, and graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Split. Thesis entitled “Legal aspects of information systems” was defended Summa Cum Laude and he become LLM of Law. Since 1992., he work as a journalist – freelance contributor to the first Radio Osijek of HRT (Croatian Radio Television), and then something shorter, among other media, he work for HTV – TV center Osijek, weekly “Školske novine (School Newspaper)“ and the monthly “Super Kino Video (Super Cinema Video)”. In the academic year 2009./2010., Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Osijek (today Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek) he was appointed of part time assistant on the course “Computer Criminality”. With Computer Criminality, he is studying a Medical Law and a few other legal disciplines. In Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Osijek he was participated in teaching of the courses “Computer Criminality” and “Legal Regulations in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science” and in the Faculty of Medicine in Osijek he participated in teaching of the courses “Social and Health Legislation” and “Medicine and Health Law”. The successful defense of the doctoral dissertation on the topic from criminal law called “The Criminal Justice and Forensic Aspects of Computer Criminality”, he received a PhD degree from the Faculty of Law of the International University of Brčko District in Brčko, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Dr. Giuseppe Lanza was born in Catania (Italy) in 1982. He is currently working as a Senior Academic Researcher at the University of Catania (Italy). After graduation with honours in Medicine, he trained at the School of Neurology and got an international Ph.D. at the same University. As visiting Clinical Research Fellow, he further trained at the Department of Neuroscience and Clinical Neurophysiology of Newcastle University (UK). In 2013 he was selected for a Scientific Fellowship promoted by the European Federation of Neurological Societies (EFNS). From 2013 to October 2018, he worked as a Consultant Neurologist at the “Oasi Research Institute–IRCCS” in Troina (Italy), which is a Collaborating Centre of the World Health Organization (WHO). From 2015 to October 2018, he taught Neurology at the University of Enna (Italy). He has authored more than 120 publications in internationally-indexed peer-reviewed Journals and Conferences or Meetings, and he is currently serving as Editor and invited Reviewer of several international Journals. More recently, he has obtained the Master of Science (Level I) in Clinical Research and the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor (procedure for the Italian University Professor recruiting, based on rigorous criteria of scientific qualification).
